Partners Group is in the process of wrapping up its latest direct investment fund, exceeding its €500m ($646m) target and reaching its €650m hard cap, according to a person familiar with the offering.

The final total for Partners Group Direct Investment 2009 LP also will surpass the €500m the firm raised for its predecessor, which closed in 2007.
