One of Europe’s most influential private equity investors has revealed plans to open in the German city of Munich as interest in Europe's largest economy grows.

Partners Group said today that it has opened in Munich as part of its annual round of promotions. Two newly-promoted partners, Jürgen Diegruber and Armin Weiland, will launch the new operation, which will be Partners Group's 13th office.
