Passive chief moves to FTSE development role

UBS Global Asset Management's head of passive investments has left after 38 years to join FTSE Group as a director in its executive team.

David Hobbs has a 16-year association with FTSE, previously acting as chairman of FTSE's equity indices committee and vice-chairman of the FTSE policy group.
