Patsytems, the derivatives software trading group, has made two new appointments as part of its recent aggressive recruitment drive.

Scott Shellady is joining the firm as product director with responsibility for the development of projects. Before joining Patsystems, Shellady was the managing director of Industrial Bank of Japan Lanston Futures in London, where his responsibilities included sales and compliance. Shellady has also held positions at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Prime International.
