Patsystems shareholders vote to keep chief executive

Shareholders of Patsystems, the financial software vendor whose board was at the centre of a dispute with its founder, have voted against a proposal to oust the current chief executive and another director.

A group of dissenting shareholders, of which the largest was Thomas Theys, founder and former president of the company, had motioned four proposals which were rejected by shareholders.
