Pangea Investors, the UK-headquartered private equity firm founded by two former Morgan Stanley executives, has brought in an affiliate partner as it looks to expand its coverage of the Benelux region.

The firm has hired Paul Bijleveld as an affiliate partner with a focus on sourcing, executing, and managing investment opportunities in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, a statement from  Pangea confirmed. The firm was launched in early 2011 by former Morgan Stanley executives Michael Hehn and Johan Hueffer.
