King & Spalding has hired a senior capital markets lawyer from US law firm rival Paul Hastings in London.

Peter Schwartz is the global head of high-yield capital markets at Paul Hastings and has spent nearly 10 years at the firm. He previously spent four years at Milbank and nearly eight years at Weil Gotshal & Manges where he made partner in 2007.
