Peel Hunt, the UK broker, has established a dedicated broking team for the mining sector with two new hires.

The firm has named Maurice Mason and Michael Stoner as mining sector research analysts. Mason previously worked for AME Group and prior to that KPMG and Anglo American. Stoner joins Peel Hunt from Edison investment research. He has previously worked for Evolution Securities where he was an analyst working in the commodities sector.
