Axa Private Equity scooped a hat-trick of gongs at the ninth Private Equity News awards ceremony in London last night in an event that also recognised the achievements of Cinven’s retiring chairman Robin Hall.

Axa Private Equity won the accolades for French Buyout Firm Of The Year and Secondaries Deal Of The Year - for its $1.9bn acquisition of a portfolio from Bank of America - while its chief executive Dominique Senequier was named Most Influential Woman In Private Equity for the second year running at the Awards For Excellence In Europe, 2011, held at One Mayfair, London.
