Pension funds cool on credit as sovereigns gain favour

Credit has been popular since the crisis but now pension funds are taking profits, says bfinance

Pension funds' interest in credit has dropped sharply in recent months, as they take profits on an asset class that has been a good money-maker over the past few years, according to a survey by institutional consultants bfinance.

bfinance advises pension funds on their investments. Between October and November last year, it asked 34 large funds, which control total assets of $275 billion, what they were planning to do with their money.
