Pension Superfund appeals to Parliament in tussle with regulator

The Pension Superfund, one of the new breed of retirement-fund consolidators in the UK, has taken the unusual step of writing to Parliament to argue that Bank of England regulators have misunderstood its business model and could stymie its prospects.

The company, founded by private equity entrepreneur Edmund Truell, has written to Parliament’s pensions committee to ask for “help” after the Bank’s Prudential Regulation Authority proposed a tough new regime for pension consolidators in February.
