Pensions survey finds ignorance of investment

More than half of employees do not know how their pension fund is performing or who the investment houses are, a new survey on defined contribution (DC) pensions has revealed.

Just 21%, of the 500 DC members surveyed, thought they were given a choice as to how their money would be invested, the independent research commissioned by Barclays Global Investors (BGI) and conducted by BMRB, found.
