Perella Weinberg Partners has hired its third senior restructuring banker of the year.

Romain Lanier, who was previously at rival boutique PJT Partners, has joined as a managing director within Perella’s restructuring division — a counter-cyclical business that smaller investment banks rely on when merger and acquisition deals dry up.
