Pescod to leave Slaughter and May

Michael Pescod, joint head of the corporate department at Slaughter and May, the UK law firm involved in some of the largest international mergers and acquisitions, plans to step down.

In January, Pescod lost out to Tim Clark, an M&A partner, in his bid to be elected Slaughter's new senior partner. Clark takes over from Giles Henderson, the outgoing senior partner, on May 1.
