Philip Gibbs’ departure from Jupiter Asset Management next year will bring the curtain down on a triumphant 17 years in fund management at the investment group.

Gibbs retires from the group in October 2014 and will see out his final days at Jupiter managing the Second Split Investment Trust, relinquishing managerial responsibility for the Jupiter Absolute Return Fund to new recruit James Clunie from September 1, 2013.
