UBS names new head for consumer deal team in Europe

Former BAML banker takes the reins of a team that has seen several new faces in recent months

UBS has handed the reins of its consumer and retail investment banking business in Europe to a former Bank of America Merrill Lynch dealmaker.

Philippe Drouin, who joined UBS four years ago after a 17-year career at BAML, has been named head of consumer products and retail for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
