Ex-Goldman Sachs banker Hylander starts new venture

The US bank's former point man for its strategic stakes in trading initiatives including Turquoise and LMAX has teamed up with a property specialist to launch a new firm

The former global head of Goldman Sachs’s principal strategic investments unit has teamed up with a property investor to launch a new venture, Companies House records show.

Phillip Hylander, who first joined the US bank from German rival Deutsche Bank in 2002 as a managing director and co-head of European equity sales and trading, stepped down from the principal strategic investments role at Goldman at the end of 2010.
