Phoenix and ABN Amro eye Faith shoes

Phoenix Capital Partners and ABN Amro Capital, the mid-market private equity firms, are circling Faith shoes, the UK high-street chain, thought to be worth up to £40m.

Sources close to the sale, which is being handled by Waterford Corporate Finance, an investment banking boutique, said Faith's family owners would favour a deal which included the incumbent management.
