Pimco, the US-based asset management company, has appointed Marc van Heel from Dutch private equity house NIB Capital to strengthen its Benelux capabilities.

Van Heel joins as senior vice-president and director of business development, reporting to Joe McDevitt, head of Pimco's London office.
