Fabio Innocenzi, chief executive of Pioneer Global Asset Management, the fund manager owned by UniCredito Italiano, is to leave the group to become the new chief executive of Banca Popolare di Verona.

UniCredito said that Dario Frigerio, currently head of Pioneer's European operation, will take Innocenzi's place while Giordano Lombardi will be promoted to head of global investments.
