Pioneer Investments, the asset manager owned by UniCredit, has hired a UK head of institutional and wholesale business from a rival to boost its operations in the country.

Roger Price-Haworth joins Pioneer after six years as head of UK institutional business development and global consultants at Insight Investment, the fund management arm of HBOS.
