Chris Yiannakou is joining Pioneer Investments to work on consultant relations in Europe. Other hires are expected shortly to strengthen Pioneer's marketing presence to institutional investors.

Yiannakou, formerly of Gartmore Investment Management, has been hired after three years at Morley Fund Management and will report to Kerry Duffain, head of consultant relations for Europe.
