Boutique investment bank PJT Partners increased pay for its bankers by 5% as advisory revenue largely held up despite an industry-wide slump in fees.

The bank, headed up by former Morgan Stanley dealmaker Paul Taubman, spent $669.1m on compensation in 2022, according to newly-released accounts, up by 5% on a year earlier.
