Plato Partnership, a trading initiative backed by the biggest dealers in Europe's equity markets, has named the head of stock trading at Deutsche Bank's investment business as its new CEO.

Mike Bellaro, who announced his decision to leave DWS Group — formerly Deutsche Asset Management — in June, will take the helm at Plato with immediate effect, according to a statement on Tuesday. He already served as one of Plato's co-chairs.
