PPM Ventures has hired former investment banker Jérôme Dupas as a director in its Paris office, one month after breaking a three-year lull in its French dealflow.

Dupas was previously at HSBC Investment Bank, where he had worked since 1993. In 2001 he was put in charge of the bank's London-based technology team, which was hit after the hi-tech downturn.
