Prince in European offensive to salvage Citigroup's reputation

Morgan Stanley takes over Carrefour's Japanese deal

Chuck Prince, the chief executive of Citigroup who delivered an unprecedented apology yesterday for the illegal activities of its Japanese private bank, is expected to travel to London within the next two months as part of a world-wide tour to rebuild the bank's tarnished reputation.

Prince is expected to meet the Financial Services Authority, the UK's top regulator whose chief executive is John Tiner. Prince has already met Hirofumi Gomi, commissioner of Japan's regulator, the Financial Services Agency of Japan.
