Former Coutts private banker Paul Scott has won his case of wrongful dismissal against his former employer, according to a report in the Daily Post (Liverpool).

The report said the decision brings to an end a "year of hell" for the Liverpool-based banker, who was fired from Coutts last summer in a dispute involving payments during a trip to the 2007 European Cup final.
