Private banks sold Lehman Brothers bonds without risk warning

Spanish private banks sold Lehman Brothers bonds without warning clients of the potential risk, according to a report in Expansion, a Spanish daily newspaper.

The report said private banks only warned investors that they could lose money based on the performance of the Ibex 35 index of leading Spanish shares and the EuroStoxx 50 index.
