UK private equity firm Montagu Private Equity is in talks with investors about raising a debut infrastructure fund, FN's sister publication Private Equity Newsreports.
In doing so, it becomes the latest buyout house seeking to capitalise on a strong fundraising market by launching a new strategy. The fund plans to raise €500m to invest in mid-market infrastructure assets across Europe, according to one person familiar with the matter.
