Private equity firm mulls writing charitable donation into fund terms

Inflexion has talked to investors about giving a 1% cut of profits from its new fund to charity

Private equity firm mulls writing charitable donation into fund terms

UK buyout firm Inflexion Private Equity is considering asking investors to give some of the profits from its latest flagship buyout fund to charity, FN's sister publication Private Equity News reports.

The plan is not confirmed yet because Inflexion — the former owner of preppy fashion chain Jack Wills — is still in the early stages of raising the fund and the terms of the vehicle have not been finalised, according to people familiar with the matter.
