Specialist advisers flourished in the first three months of the year

Profits rise 24% at Paul Taubman advisory firm PJT

PJT Partners, the independent advisory firm set up three years ago by top Wall Street dealmaker Paul Taubman, has followed its more established peers with a strong start to 2018.

PJT said on Wednesday that pre-tax profits rose around 24% to $2.6m in the first three months of the year, compared with the same period in 2017. Revenues were up 11% at $134m.
