PwC acquires leveraged buyouts specialist Coba

PricewaterhouseCoopers has expanded its corporate finance team by buying Coba, a boutique specialising in advice for leveraged buyouts.

PwC has agreed to pay around £7m (€11.4m) for Coba, ending two years of independence for the firm, which was bought out from consultancy Renaissance Worldwide in 1999.
