PwC has apologised after a mix up at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony, for which the accountancy firm counts the votes, saw the wrong film announced as the night’s big winner.

At the 89th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles, presenters Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty said that La La Land had won best picture. But it was then revealed they had been given the wrong envelope to open - one naming Emma Stone as best actress - and that Moonlight had actually won the night's biggest prize.
