PwC reverses back-to-the-office push after new Covid-19 restrictions

The Big Four firm said the majority of its staff would now be working from home

Big Four accountancy firm PwC UK has reversed its push to get staff to return to the office after Prime Minister Boris Johnson advised office workers to work from home because of a surge in coronavirus cases.

PwC had been the most bullish of the Big Four firms about the benefits of bringing staff back to the office and earlier this month said 9,000 people per week were using its offices.
