The Big Four professional services firms are continuing to trim their UK ranks, with PwC the latest set to cull hundreds of roles.

With fewer staff leaving, cost pressures persisting and demand for advisory services falling amid a deal drought, PwC is looking to make up to 600 staff in the UK redundant, with compulsory exits possible if too few staff take up voluntary offers.
