UK equity performance at Nicola Horlick's SG Asset Management has failed to live up to its advance billing so far this year.
SG's UK institutional pooled fund saw its value fall by a fourth quartile 6.2%, after fees, in the nine months to September. This compares to -3.9% from the Caps median, -4.9% from the FTSE All-Share Index and -3.4% from arch rival Deutsche Asset Management, Horlick's former firm. Before fees, its UK equity fund produced -5.7%.
