Star technology banker has Frank Quattrone has continued to reap the rewards of hiring two former colleagues from Credit Suisse last year after his boutique Qatalyst Partners won a role advising on its second multi-billion dollar mandate this year.
The boutique will advise National Semiconductor, a US firm, on a takeover by Texas Instruments, the US semiconductor manufacturer for $6.6bn in cash, according to Dealogic, the investment banking research provider.
