Raymond James has hired Allan Bertie from Jefferies International as co-head of its European investment banking arm.

Bertie will work alongside current head of European investment banking and chief operating officer Steve Hufford. He was previously a managing director in the European M&A group at Jefferies, based in London. Prior to that, he worked as a senior managing director on Macquaire Capital’s industrials, communications and sponsors team. He previously also had stints at GCA Savvian, Dresdner Kleinwort and Credit Suisse First Boston.
