RBC Capital Markets has won a role as a joint corporate broker to the London Stock Exchange, cementing a relationship with the UK exchange after advising it on a $2.7 billion purchase of Frank Russell Company last summer.

The Canadian investment bank has been appointed as a joint corporate broker alongside UK bank Barclays, according to a statement issued this morning. Both banks worked on the deal for Russell.
