Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has bolstered its UK and European capital markets sales effort with four more hires, having made a handful of appointments to the team three months ago.

Alberto Zaffignani joins the bank's Milan office as head of capital markets sales for Italy. He was previously at JP Morgan Chase for eight years, where he was head of fixed income and emerging market sales for the country. He has also held senior roles at Banca IMI and Banca di Roma, aiding in the development of fixed income distribution.
