Royal Bank of Scotland has arranged the €172.5m ($181m) financing package for the acquisition of Tetra, the aquarium and pond supplies company, by Triton, the international private equity fund.
RBS acted as mandated sole lead arranger on the deal, which comprised €142.5m of senior debt and €30m of mezzanine financing to back the acquisition of Tetra from Pfizer, the US pharmaceuticals company.
