Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has hired Damian Thompson for its asset-backed securities (ABS) business from ratings agency Fitch.

In his new capacity at RBS, Thompson will focus on property and leveraged finance transactions. He will report to Lindsey McMurray, who joined RBS in January from Cabot Square Capital to head the property and leveraged finance team within the securitisation business.
