Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed a new senior management team for its global banking and markets division following its acquisition of ABN Amro, as it starts to integrate the Dutch bank's businesses.

RBS told employees last Friday and those at ABN Amro on Monday of the make-up of the new senior executive team, which is subject to regulatory approval.
