Deutsche Bank chief executive Christian Sewing has moved to reassure workers at Germany's largest lender after “several” staff tested positive for the coronavirus.

The bank has already moved to split its investment bank teams, stop all non-essential business travel and encourage remote working among its employees as part of its plans to guard them against the spread of Covid-19.
