Regulator tells insurers: take responsibility for older pensions

The UK's financial watchdog, the Financial Conduct Authority, has said some insurance companies do not take responsibility for the old, badly-run pension funds on their books.

The FCA began a study of 13 insurance companies, running pension funds for nine million savers, late last year to check they were keeping them up to date with recent reforms.
