Renaissance Capital, an emerging markets investment bank, has bolstered its Asia research team by hiring three analysts, The Asset reported. Matthew Whittall will join as head of Asian metals and mining research from UBS where he ran specialist resource sales; Leavitt Pope, who previously worked at CLSA, is joining as a metals and mining analyst; and Jenny Wong, who was previously at Credit Suisse, has been named oil and gas analyst. All three will be based in Hong Kong.
