A month after former JP Morgan investment bank chief executive Bill Winters took the helm at Standard Chartered, the alternative investment firm he left behind has recruited another veteran of the US bank to a key role in its new leadership set-up.

Former JP Morgan banker Richard Berliand started as a partner at Renshaw Bay on July 7, according to a Companies House filing by the firm.
