For someone who's been told to forget about having good relations with London's financial community, Gordon Robson is in a remarkably cheerful mood. "Some people suggested that we were finished in the City of London for years, our credibility gone. One third party suggested that we change the company name," he says.
Robson is chairman and chief executive of Stream, which provides content, such as ring-tones, music and video, to mobile phone users. The company listed in April 2001 with a share price of 28p. Robson says: "It was a very interesting experience. Our share price initially went over 30p, and then began to drop and drop and drop."
