Shares in Russian oil company Rosneft dipped slightly on their first official day of trading on the London Stock Exchange today. The $10.4bn (€8.3bn) listing went ahead after a UK high court ruling yesterday afternoon rejected a last-ditch legal bid by rival Yukos to scupper the float.
Rosneft's global depositary receipts were trading at $7.50 by 08:30 GMT today, down almost 1% from their $7.55 issue price on Friday. The shares were trading roughly 1.5% higher than their $7.39 closing price in conditional trading yesterday.
