UK investment bank Rothschild is to boost its regional corporate finance team by almost a third to support the volume of mandates won outside London.

The group last week advertised for corporate finance staff for its offices in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham and has hired headhunter HamiltonCaine to find suitable candidates. A spokesman said Rothschild was looking for about three junior people for each office.
